Tanzania & Zanzibar Safaris

Something special about Africa touches the soul

Tanzania, the largest country in East Africa, has plenty to offer the visitor. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’. Within the rim of the crater, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze while sleeping lions often doze in the sun. Just outside the crater’s ridge, Maasai herd their livestock, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. Above the rolling hills and plateaux of northern Tanzania rises the snowy peak of Mt Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro is in a protected area, carefully regulated for climbers to enjoy without leaving a trace of their presence and there are breath-taking views from its summit. Zanzibar’s coastline offers some of the best beaches in the world - it’s a great destination for snorkelling, diving or just pure relaxation.
